Trouble On The Beach

I didn't notice this at first but wondered why people were giggling as they walked past us.
I'm guessing it took about 20 minutes to get her out of the water.  At first, just the other lady was trying to help and then the man joined in.  There didn't seem to be any urgency and Sassy speculated that perhaps it was a case of too many Pina Coladas.

The guy who drove us back to the airport from the car rental in St. Martin might like this picture...reason to follow:  As our driver was finishing the paperwork at the counter next to where I was sitting, one of the papers started to fall to the floor. My instinct took over, (really), and I swung my left foot up to trap the
falling paper against the front of the counter.  "Ahh", the driver said, "Footballer?"  "I used to be." I said, "Are you?"  "No", he said, "Cricket", "I'm a 'reverse-swing bowler'", which in baseball is similar to a 'spit-baller'.  Our conversation continued with Cricket, as the World Cup is going on.  His team travels to other islands to play.  I thought about this for a moment and us heading back to the NorthEast and then was curious to ask, "Have you ever been cold?"......."No".   Hmmmmm(...have you ever hit yourself in the head with a hammer....no)

Spent most of the afternoon at Friar's Bay and then hiked over the hill to Happy Bay. No one was renting, "THE Villa"  The Villa in the background of this picture would be a nice rental.  A little girl, about 8 years old, with snorkl, found two very nice Conch shells right in front of us.
