Down Memory Lane...or Beach Ave.
53 Beach Ave., 2011
53 Beach Ave., 1974, our humble abode.
Inverloch approaching from the north.
The mayor of Inverloch hanging out at the dognut shop.
Eagle's next, just down the beach.
When I finally figured out who it was I nearly fell out of my chair! "There is no 34 Beach Ave.!" Fodus had forgotten the address but as soon as John said the number, the real address popped in my head. It was such kick for me to have them visit. A vicarious thrill! Just delighted to be able to share where we lived for a year!

Darrrgh! Melt, blast ye!
March trail ride in the neighborhood.
How long will the Kerry Lane Iceberg last?
This snow at the end of the driveway is always the last to melt.

Trouble On The Beach
I couldn't load this on the blog so you'll have to go to YouTube with the link.
I didn't notice this at first but wondered why people were giggling as they walked past us.
I'm guessing it took about 20 minutes to get her out of the water. At first, just the other lady was trying to help and then the man joined in. There didn't seem to be any urgency and Sassy speculated that perhaps it was a case of too many Pina Coladas.

BeerCrow Is Home
Still winter in New York
The guy who drove us back to the airport from the car rental in St. Martin might like this picture...reason to follow: As our driver was finishing the paperwork at the counter next to where I was sitting, one of the papers started to fall to the floor. My instinct took over, (really), and I swung my left foot up to trap the
falling paper against the front of the counter. "Ahh", the driver said, "Footballer?" "I used to be." I said, "Are you?" "No", he said, "Cricket", "I'm a 'reverse-swing bowler'", which in baseball is similar to a 'spit-baller'. Our conversation continued with Cricket, as the World Cup is going on. His team travels to other islands to play. I thought about this for a moment and us heading back to the NorthEast and then was curious to ask, "Have you ever been cold?"......."No". Hmmmmm(...have you ever hit yourself in the head with a hammer....no)
